The French classics
If you want a proper French dessert, start here.
Dacquoise Framboise. A raspberry dacquoise, light and nutty, finished with fresh raspberries.
Mille-Feuille. Crisp layers of puff pastry with vanilla cream and seasonal fruit. Big enough to share if you are feeling generous.
Paris-Brest au Pistache. The famous ring of choux pastry, filled here with pistachio cream.
Choux Pistache & Framboise. Pistachio and raspberry choux, for when you want something smaller.
Tarte Tatin aux Coings. The upside-down caramelised tart, made with quince instead of apple.
Flan à l'Orange. A smooth orange caramel custard, simple and very hard to stop eating.
L'Assiette Douceur. A plate of macarons and cheesecake, if you can't choose just one thing.
Where Paris meets Persia
The kitchen at Le Flamant Rose cooks both French and Persian food, and the dessert menu shows it.
Crème Brûlée au Safran & Cardamome. The classic crème brûlée with a crackling sugar top, flavoured with saffron and cardamom. If you order one dessert here, make it this one.
Sorbets « Sharbat ». Three sorbets named after the Persian sharbat: sour cherry, rose and lemon, and saffron. Light, cold and refreshing on a warm Dubai evening.
Milky Cake. A soft sponge soaked in sweet milk and topped with whipped cream. Choose vanilla with strawberry, or pistachio.
There are also a few favourites from beyond France: a classic Tiramisu with Arabica-soaked sponge and mascarpone cream, and Glaces, a bowl of ice cream for the children (or for you).
The goûter sets: L'Heure Dorée
In France, the goûter is the afternoon treat. At Le Flamant Rose, the goûter sets are called L'Heure Dorée, "the golden hour", and they are served every day from 8 AM to 1 AM, so the golden hour is whenever you want it to be.
Café & Croissant. Any hot coffee with a warm croissant: plain, Nutella or jam.
Café Gourmand. An espresso with three small desserts. The best way to taste more than one thing.

What to drink with dessert
Coffee is the obvious partner: a flat white, a cortado, a pistachio latte, or an iced Biscoff latte in the Dubai heat. For something different, try the Tiramisu Latte Cold or an Affogato, espresso poured over ice cream.
