Iced Matcha Speciality, in eight flavours
The drink most guests order first is the Iced Matcha Speciality (AED 44). It is built in layers in a tall glass, so it looks as good as it tastes, and it comes in eight flavours:
Matcha, for the purist
Mango and Passionfruit, bright and tropical
Strawberry and Blueberry, fruity and fresh
Biscoff, for a sweet, biscuity finish
Lemon, sharp and refreshing on a hot afternoon
Ube, our purple favourite (more on that below)

Cloud drinks: matcha and ube with a soft top
Our cloud drinks (AED 42) are finished with a soft, airy top layer. There are four:
Strawberry Cloud Matcha
Ube Cloud Matcha
Ube Parmesan Coco Cloud
Zaatar Pistachio Coco Cloud
The last two are the adventurous ones. Ube with Parmesan and za'atar with pistachio sound surprising, and they are: sweet and savoury in the same glass. If you like trying something you won't find on every menu, start here.
What is ube?
Ube is a purple yam that is loved across the Philippines and now all over Dubai. It has a gentle, sweet, slightly nutty taste and that famous violet colour. It pairs naturally with matcha: the earthy green and the soft, sweet purple balance each other. Try it in the Iced Matcha Speciality (ube flavour), the Ube Cloud Matcha or the Ube Parmesan Coco Cloud.
Hot matcha and lattes
Not every matcha needs ice. For a calm morning or a cooler evening on the terrace:
Ceremonial Matcha Tea (AED 40). Matcha at its simplest and purest.
Matcha Latte (AED 38). Smooth and creamy, the everyday classic.
Pink Latte, Blue Latte, Pink Cloud and Blue Spirulina (AED 38 each), for colour lovers.
Affogato A Le Matcha (AED 38). Ice cream with matcha poured over it, half drink and half dessert.

What to eat with your matcha
Matcha goes beautifully with French pastry. A few favourites from our dessert menu:

When to come
Le Flamant Rose is open every day from 8 AM to 1 AM, so there is always time for a matcha: an iced one at noon, a latte in the afternoon, or an affogato after dinner.
